With a burning desire to stay engaged with my Kom community, I joined Afo-a-Kom USA through Woynkom DC upon arrival, and my leadership with the organization started with the role of treasurer for Woynkom DC. My first time to attend an enlarged meeting of Kom people in the United States was in Minnesota, 2003. I loved it, and since then, I have been consistent. In addition to being Kom, my special love for Afo-a-Kom USA originates from memories of 2009 Kom Convention in Houston. During that convention, I met my best friend, Nchindo-Kom Bernard Ful, we later got married and settled in Arizona.

My husband and I have been active members of Afo-a-Kom Arizona since inception, and have given our best to see it grow. In addition to serving the chapter as treasurer since 2015, I was one of the lead organizers of our 2019 National Convention, which so far remains one of the most successful conventions in the History of Afo-a-Kom USA. I am delighted to serve Kom through my role within the chapter, and as current National Secretary General for the Organization since the 2022 Kom Convention in Minnesota. I am very pleased to be handling this role with a team of talented leaders as it has given me the opportunity to challenge myself and learn.
