Dr. Denis Kiawi was born and raised in Belo, North West Region of Cameroon, where he did most of his early education before getting enrolled in a joint bi-national master program in process and chemical engineering sponsored by the University of applied sciences Mannheim and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Industries Chimiques (ENSIC) Nancy-France, where he obtained his M.Sc. degree in process and chemical engineering.
From October 2011 he joined the Anton Pannekoek institute (University of Amsterdam) as a PhD candidate to study the interactions of metal clusters with simple molecules. This research work was conducted at the FELIX laboratory at Radboud University in Nijmegen under the supervision of Prof. dr. L. B. F. Waters, Prof. dr. J.Oomens, Dr. J. M. Bakker and Prof. dr W. J.Buma.
After graduating, he moved to the USA, where he created the Kiawi Group which comprises of; KiawiTechIT Academy LLC, The Kiawi Investment Ltd, and the Kiawi Farms.KiawiTechIT Academy was created with the aim of giving back to the community through Education.
KiawiTechIT Academy focuses on diverse IT Specialization: Database Administration and Cloud Computing.
Being the CEO of KiawiTechIT Academy, a leading institution in the Database Administration field, he has successfully graduating over 100 students who are extremely successful in the USA in the field of Database Administration.
He is equally a board member of the Kiawi Foundation, a non-profit organization which gives back to the underprivileged in our community through scholarships.se to Azure.
Through the Kiawi Foundation, Dr. Denis Kiawi has constantly donated to the Afoakom USA in multiple dimensions (Yearly Convention fundraiser, IT Scholarships)
Dr. Denis Kiawi joined the leadership council as he took over the leadership in Kom Houston in early 2019. Under his leadership, Woinkom Houston has grown in numbers from 20 to 47 as of today.
Dr. Denis Kiawi is married with two beautiful daughters with whom he enjoys spending time with when he is less busy.
