Past & Current Presidents
Dr. Bobe Emmanuel Chiabi was the pioneer president of Afoakom USA. He was first elected for a two-year term (2004-2006) at the June 2004 Komvention in Washington, DC. He was re-elected at the June 2006 Komvention in Minnesota for a second and final term (2006-2008).
Dr. Bobe Victor Waingeh became the second president of the organization. He was first elected to the CEO role at the June 2008 Komvention in Connecticut for a two-year term (2008-2010). He was re-elected for a second term (2010-2012) at the September 2010 Komvention in Atlanta.
Bobe Herbert Boh was first-elected for a two year term (2012-2014) at the June 2012 Komvention in Maryland. He was reelected for a second term (2014-2016) at the July 2014 Komvention in West Virginia.
Past & Current Organizing Secretaries
Prof. Nelson Ngoh served as the pioneer Organizing Secretary of Afoakom USA from 2004 to 2006. He was re-elected for a second term (2006-2008) during the Minnesota Komvention.
Nawain Morin Njuakom became the first-ever Secretary General of the organization to combine the positions of Secretary General and Organizing Secretary after the Komrade elected Organizing Secretary in abstensia by the Connecticut Komvention declined to take up the responsibilities.
Bobe Killian Waindim was first elected Organizing Secretary at the September 2010 Komvention in Atlanta for the two-year term (2010-2012). He was returned to the position at the June 2012 Komvention in Maryland for the two-year term 2012-2014.
Bobe Lambert Mbom was elected Organizing Secretary at the July 2014 Komvention in West Virginia for the term 2014-2016.
Past & Current Financial Secretaries
The position of Financial Secretary did not exist during the first two terms of the organization 2004-2008.
Bobe Innocent Anchang was elected the pioneer Financial Secretary of the organization at the Connecticut Komvention in 2008 and he served during the 2008-2010 term.
Bobe Oumarou Sanda was elected Financial Secretary at the September 2010 Komvention in Atlanta for the term 2010-2012. He was re-elected in abstensia at the June 2012 Komvention in Maryland for the term 2012-2014. He resigned his position five months before his term was due because he was resettling back in Cameroon.
Nawain Marie-Therese Wallang, who was already serving as the Treasurer, was appointed to double as Financial Secretary during the last five months leading up to the July 2014 Komvention in West Virginia.
Bobe Malvern Ngoh was elected Financial Secretary at the July 2014 Komvention in West Virginia for the term 2014-2016.
The position of Ombudsman has been held since inception by Bobe Emmanuel Yuh.
Bobe Anthony Ateh was elected at the “Wild and Wonderful Komvention” in West Virginia to the position of “Ombudsman in Training with Right of Succession” when the current Ombudsman quits.
